In a nutshell, I'm an undergraduate Finance student with an avid interest in technology. I've noticed that tech's been taking an increasing part in Egyptians' lives, with limited coverage of all the tech buzz going on in the country.
That's why I created The Egyptian Geek, which is entirely dedicated to covering the evolution and application of technology in Egypt, from new mobile phones to emerging e-businesses and from groundbreaking laptops and tablets entering the Egyptian market to popular (and unpopular) mobile apps.
Since this is a blog, all posts will be entirely biased towards my opinions (makes sense absolute sense, but just wanted to clear that out). In other words, I will be constantly bashing at RIM's BlackBerries and I may not be understanding of the great creation that is the ipad, even though I acknowledge its strength as a market change.
So... if you find what I'm talking about somehow appealing, then go ahead and subscribe to the blog by entering your e-mail address at the top of the blog or follow with your google account. One more thing, whichever story you find worth spreading, don't hesitate to share it with your friends through any of the icons found at the bottom of each blog post.

Thank you for your contribution. I will look that up, but if you're looking for DSI to buy from Egypt, I think it would be rather difficult since they apparently don't have a distributor in the country. Expect to find a review about the DSI and DSI XL soon though. As for the cheapest places, I can write a separate post dedicated to the best and cheapest outlets in Egypt. ReplyDeleteحتى تقوم فعلا بتغطية أخبار التكنولوجيا و آخر مستجداتها للمصريين, أقترح أن تكتب بالعربية و ليس الإنجليزية. يوجد مئات بل آلاف المواقع التكنولوجية التى تقدم الجديد كل يوم بالانجليزية. لكن الجديد فعلا و الذى يحتاجه المصريون أن يتم تغطية هذا المجال بلغتهم. السعوديون و الكوايتة قطعوا شوطا كبيرا فى هذا و لديهم عشرات المواقع المتقدمة باللغة العربية. وقد تكون أنت سبب فى أن نلحق بهم أيضا.
