The Egyptian Geek was right, the Xoom is out now!

A few days ago I talked about the possibility of the Motorola Xoom hitting the Egyptian market soon. Well now it's no mystery anymore, the Xoom is out in Egypt. According to Mobile Shop (an Egyptian retail store), the Xoom is out for L.E 5777
                                   

Now I would normally say that the Xoom is a must buy and hands down the best tablet you can find in Egypt (if you don't like the ipad much). Despite some reported issues with the overall performance of the Android 3.0 installed on the device, the Xoom has been out for several months now in the US and you can expect that a lot of those issues have been addressed by Google and Motorola over the past period. What remains to be unknown is the possibility of a Motorola Xoom 2 launching soon. Release dates or any other specific information about the product remain to be unknown, so if such rumors don't bother you and you're satisfied with what the Xoom offers, then you should go ahead and buy one.
