So the ChaCha actually has an interesting concept, it's being marketed as Facebook phone and I can see how that can catch on among the young Egyptian population with it really convenient qwerty keyboard that could arguably be better than the ones in any of RIM's products. I wouldn't say the ChaCha is a great choice for an android phone though, but it is good enough to substitute a BB especially if it's competitively priced (we can only hope!).
Now the HTC Flyer is a valuable addition. Not only is Egypt in a dire need for more tablets in the market, it's also that the Flyer is a unique tablet in itself. The Flyer comes with a stylus that acts more like a pen (or a pencil or a marker...) and enhances the overall ebook experience that dominates Flyer. The Flyer is particularly interesting for people who constatly take notes, be it in class, in the office or elsewhere. UPDATE: According to Daily News Egypt, the Flyer went on sale last month and is priced at L.E 5,555 , weird thing is that they never really advertised for it. Another question that starts to loom in the air, will you be willing to pay that much considering that the ipad is about L.E 500 more?
The biggest surprise is the HTC Evo 3D, which is a high end android smartphone with 2.1 GHZ processor. There's nothing really special about this phone except for the fact that it's completely AWESOME, with a solid hardware and the latest version of Android for smartphones, gingerbread. Oh, and of course the 3D makes that eye candy standout. From what I know so far, the Evo 3D isn't really mind blowing in its 3D capabilities but that shouldn't stop you from buying it.
According to Jovitronix (a retailer selling HTC products in Egypt), The EVO 3D and the ChaCha are coming soon, but the Flyer is supposedly out now. I'll make sure to get my hands on it as soon as I can and possibly post a detailed review soon.
